StaphNET-SA first survey

A prospective observational study for genomic surveillance of S. aureus causing bacteremia in 58 hospitals from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia during 2019.

The whole genomes of strains were sequenced and analyzed to determine their population structure and regional variability by comparison with regional and globally available data. The map shows the location of all participating hospitals. For more details see:
